This policy explains what personal data SEWI collects, why, and the choices you have. We only collect what we need to run the store and your account.
Information we collect
- Account details: email address, display name, and your region and language preferences.
- Order details: items purchased, amounts, and — for physical products — the recipient name, phone number and shipping address you provide.
- Payment details: card payments are processed by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.
- Usage data: course progress, notes you write in the classroom, and basic technical logs (IP address, browser type) used for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
- To create and manage your account and give you access to what you have bought.
- To process payments, ship orders, and handle returns and support requests.
- To send service emails such as order confirmations and password resets.
- To prevent fraud and keep the site secure.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not send marketing emails without your consent.
Sharing
We share data only with service providers that help us run SEWI — hosting and database, payment processing, email delivery, video delivery, shipping carriers and the customs brokers who clear your parcel — and only as needed for them to provide their service, or where required by law.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your region, currency and language. We do not use advertising cookies.
Retention and your rights
We keep account data while your account is open and order records for as long as required for accounting and legal purposes. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, or close your account, by emailing support@sewi.fyi.
